Registration is NOW OPEN for the 2019 Summer Durham Region Under the Lights flag football season. The summer season runs from June through August, with games taking place on Fridays at:

REGISTRATION FEES:

• $199/player ($199 + $22.95 credit card/processing fees) includes a Under Armour game shirt and shorts
• For payments via e-transfer, send $199 to payments@brooklinelite.ca
• Your child will play every game!
• Practice a hour before games is mandated by the league

REFUND POLICY:
All refund requests must be submitted to the league commissioner prior to the 2nd week of the season. A refund will be issued less $75 USD for a processing fee. NO refund requests after the 2nd week of the season!

LEAGUE FORMAT:
 

5v5 Flag

• 1st-2nd Grade Division (Kindergarten is optional and will play in this division)
• 3rd-4th Grade Division
• 5th-6th Grade Division

7v7 HS Rules

• 7th-8th Grade Division (option to play 5v5 flag rules based on # of participants)
   
• ​Practice is only mandated a hour before games and a practice area is provided. Any additional practice is on a voluntary basis​.
• Game times are 10 minute quarters with 4 quarters per game.
• Division Champions receive medals and trophies

ROSTERS:
Teams are formed by participants requesting "friends" and "coaches" to play for during the season. All request must be given on the registration form. We will work to meet your special request, but we do not guarantee that any or all of your requests will be met. REFUNDS will not be given if Under the Lights is unable to meet your special request.

Single players will be placed on teams based on some form of familiarity through same school, sport organization, neighborhood, etc.

EQUIPMENT:
Players must wear mouthguards for ALL games. Any player without a mouthguard will not be allowed to participate.

Players must wear shorts with NO pockets.
 

COACHES AND VOLUNTEERS:

• All coaches are volunteers and are not provided by Under the Lights Flag League.
• All Coaches and Volunteers must provide the Commissioner of your league with a current Coaches certification and background check. If you need to update or obtain both please use the following links:
